Choosing Locations

Arizona is filled with rich historical sites. There is a treasure trove of cultural heritage waiting to be discovered. A drive to southern Arizona will have you immersed in the legends of Tombstone while providing a glimpse into the rugged frontier of the American West. Ancient pueblo ruins dot the Arizona landscape from the sprawling Casa Grande Ruins to the cliff dwellings of Montezuma Castle. “Located about 10 miles southeast of downtown Flagstaff, Walnut Canyon National Monument features a collection of single-story cliff dwellings built high on a canyon wall.“ The famous Route 66 will have you “Standing on the Corner in Winslow Arizona” while traveling to the iconic Petrified Forest National Park.
The Bucket List Destinations
Arizona offers some of the most popular national tourist attractions. From the iconic Grand Canyon to the mystical allure of the red rocks of Sedona, the breathtaking vistas of Saguaro National Park and the otherworldly beauty of Monument Valley, these destinations will leave a lasting impression on the soul.
Off the Beaten Path
There are lots of hidden gems in Arizona. Spending the day tubing down the Salt River is a great way to escape warmer weather. Not only will you find the landscape breathtaking, you just might catch a glimpse of the wild horses that call it’s riverbank home. While Slide Rock is a popular Sedona destination, it can be very crowded. A little detour will land you at Grasshopper Point, where you can jump from the cliffs into Oak Creek. The Mogollan Rim, despite it’s beauty and natural diversity, doesn’t receive the same attention as other Arizona landmarks. “Stretching 200 miles, the Mogollon Rim provides breathtaking views overlooking an expansive forest of pine trees.” In the heart of the Sonoran Desert, you can find the El Dorado Hot springs, offering simplicity and serenity.
